About Us
Harry Hopmeyer (1955-2006) was an original board member of the BBFF. His spirit and ideas guided the Foundation at its outset, and continue to do so to this day.
Brian Bronfman, O.Q.
Brian Bronfman (President) has studied philosophy, law, natural resource planning, mediation, and conflict resolution. His goal has long been to help bring about positive, progressive social change. Personal projects continue to revolve around peace, conflict resolution, and the betterment of society. In 2020, he was named an Officer in the Ordre national du Québec for his his dedication to philanthropy.
Marcia Wetherup
Marcia Wetherup (Vice-President) has studied psychology and criminology, and worked for the federal government, managing a culturally diverse team in the civil service and acting as a communications liaison. As a result, she has strong interests in inter-cultural bridge-building, effective communication, and human rights.
Helen Antoniou Molson
Helen Antoniou Molson (Secretary-Treasurer) has studied law and public health, and has worked as a management consultant advising multinational corporations in the areas of strategic planning, organizational effectiveness and transformational change. Her personal and community interests are primarily in the areas of leadership coaching, accessible education, and social harmony.

The Brian Bronfman Family Foundation is a successor to the Edward Bronfman Family Foundation, albeit with a new mandate and new administrators. The BBFF aims to achieve the kind of significant and lasting accomplishments realized by the former EBFF under the tutelage of the late Edward Bronfman, whose dedication to philanthropy and to the betterment of society were widely recognized and much-admired.
